We've been out of town.
Our air conditioner chose the Sunday afternoon before we left to utterly fail. We spent Sunday night in an overheated house prior to travel. We arrived back to cooler temperatures and so braved the air conditioner deficit an additional evening, albeit with support from two fans I dug out of storage.
While we were gone it rained 3/4 of an inch. The back yard, used to the heat, is thriving with the relief from the sun via cloud cover and the nice watering from the passing storms yesterday.
Our air conditioner is within striking distance of coming back on line according to the repairman currently working on it.
Life is beautiful, even under warmer than usual circumstances.
